Dr. Atemnkeng Forwang, DDS
Dr. Atemnkeng Forwang is a Doctor of Dental Surgery and the trusted dentist behind Crystal Smiles in Hillsboro, Texas, providing comprehensive family, restorative, and cosmetic care for patients of every age. Born in Cameroon and raised in Prince George’s County, Maryland, he spent much of his childhood playing both football and soccer, developing a strong sense of discipline and teamwork qualities that continue to shape his approach to dentistry today.
Dr. Forwang attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore, one of the oldest and most respected dental schools in the country. Following dental school, he completed a General Practice Residency at Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center, where he received advanced hospital-based training in the full scope of general dentistry.
Dr. Forwang enjoys the diverse nature of dentistry and is especially passionate about educating his patients on the connection between oral health and systemic health. His goal is to empower every patient in Hillsboro to take an active role in their oral health and overall well-being.
